Williamsburg Real Estate School (WRES)

The Williamsburg Real Estate School is the education division of the Williamsburg Area Association of REALTORS® (WAAR). The program strives to meet and equip today’s REALTORS® with the tools they need to succeed in a challenging and competitive market place.

 

PURPOSE  

The purpose of the Williamsburg Real Estate School is:

  •   To provide the real estate industry with qualified, well-informed licensees, while providing the public with qualified practitioners.
  •   To encourage learning through well-structured classes, quality instruction and diverse programs.  Course material remains current and pertinent to issues that affect the real estate industry.
  •   Assures students that the institution operates on a sound financial basis
  •   Has approved programs of study
  •   Has qualified instructors

 

ACCREDITATION

WRES is a Professional Real Estate Institute licensed by the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation, to teach real estate courses and to satisfy state licensing requirements.  The school operates according to Part VI (Schools) of the Real Estate Board Regulations to remain in accordance with the regulations of the Virginia State License Law. 

As defined by the U.S. Department of Education accreditation, the school:

  •   Assures students that the institution operates on a sound financial basis
  •   Has approved programs of study
  •   Has qualified instructors
