A trainer at heart, Lynn is known for her practical insight, thoughtful case‑study analysis, and ability to simplify complex real‑estate scenarios. Her passion for education is evident in her role as an Accredited Instructor with the Williamsburg Real Estate School, as well as her work teaching continuing education courses for Associations across the Commonwealth.
Lynn’s leadership and service to the industry span decades. She earned her initial Salesperson License in 1983 and her Broker License in 1986. She has served on the National Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors, represents small Associations as an appointee from Virginia, and previously served on the Virginia REALTORS® Board of Directors. She is a graduate of Virginia’s inaugural Leadership Academy (2005) and served on the DPOR Real Estate Board from 2012–2020. Lynn has also held key leadership roles locally, including President of the Virginia Peninsula Association of REALTORS® (1998) and the Williamsburg REALTORS® (2022).
Her dedication has been recognized at every level of the profession. Lynn is a two‑time Virginia REALTORS® Salesperson of the Year (1998 & 2002), a three‑time VPAR REALTOR® of the Year (1999, 2007, and 2022), and the 2006 VPAR Code of Ethics Award recipient. She is a member of the Virginia REALTORS® Hall of Fame, the NAR RPAC Hall of Fame, and has earned both the RE/MAX Hall of Fame and Lifetime Achievement honors.

Holding the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation from the National Association of REALTORS®, John is recognized for global real estate knowledge and international business experience. With 33 years in the industry, John has built a career grounded in education, leadership, and community involvement. Teaching at the local real estate board is one of the most rewarding parts of that work, and reflects a deep belief in strengthening the profession through learning.
Giving back to the community is a core value. Throughout the years, John has served in numerous leadership roles and on committees at the local, state, and national levels. This combination of business experience, education, and industry involvement has helped shape a balanced, results‑driven approach that continues to deliver exceptional outcomes for Coldwell Banker Traditions and its clients.

Karen Schureman is an accomplished Associate Broker with a rich background in education and real estate. Originally from Hanover County, Karen has called New Kent County home for the past 40 years. She holds a Master's Degree in teaching High School Science, and a Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Science. She spent 20 years shaping young minds as a dedicated high school teacher in New Kent County.
Today, Karen brings her passion for education into the real estate world, teaching real estate classes and serving as Chair and Co-chair of the Professional Development Committee. Her leadership extends to serving on the WMLS Board of Directors, where she champions data sharing with other MLSs, innovation, and professional standards in the industry.

As the Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Capital in Williamsburg, Bobby brings a strong blend of experience, leadership, and community commitment to the real estate profession. After graduating from William & Mary, he joined RE/MAX in 2000 and quickly built a reputation for exceptional client service and a deep dedication to the industry.
In 2015, Bobby became the Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Capital and has since expanded the company to three thriving offices. Under his leadership, his agents serve hundreds of clients each year—including military families, first‑time buyers, investors, landlords, and those seeking luxury, waterfront, vacation, or equestrian properties. Ensuring that every referred client receives outstanding care remains his highest priority.
Bobby has also been deeply involved in Williamsburg REALTORS® community. He has served on both the WAAR Board of Directors and the WMLS Board of Directors, contributing to the growth and professionalism of the regional real estate community. He has also served on the Professional Development Committee at Williamsburg REALTORS®, helping shape educational standards and training opportunities for agents.
As an Accredited Instructor at the Williamsburg Real Estate School, Bobby brings his industry knowledge directly into the classroom, where he enjoys helping new and experienced agents strengthen their skills and confidence
