 Williamsburg REALTORS raised $5,600 for Habitat for Humanity

Williamsburg REALTORS® organized a successful fundraising event for Habitat for Humanity on July 15th, 2023, at Bruster’s Real Ice Cream. The community came together in large numbers, eager to purchase ice cream and contribute to a worthy cause, resulting in an overwhelming success. The highlight of the day was Bruster’s generous contribution, as they pledged to donate 20% of the total sales during the event, amounting to a substantial $300, towards supporting Habitat for Humanity.

In addition to the ice cream extravaganza, the highly successful Wheelbarrow of Summer Fun Fundraiser also concluded at Bruster’s. The WAAR Outreach Committee, responsible for organizing the event, is thrilled to announce that an impressive sum of $5,300 was raised. The full amount will directly benefit WAAR fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg, enabling them to continue their invaluable work within the community.

This inspiring initiative serves as a reminder that even the smallest contributions can create significant change. The collaboration between Williamsburg REALTORS®, Bruster’s Real Ice Cream, and Habitat for Humanity showcases the potential when businesses and individuals unite for a common cause.
