About The Project
In 2022, Williamsburg REALTORS® partnered up with Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg and pledged to raise $110,000 for the construction of a safe and affordable home in James City County. To this date, we have raised $64,287. Watch the video below to listen to the message from Lynn Grimsley, the 2022 WAAR BOD President.
In the beginning of 2024, the Robinson family was selected for the WAAR house and the groundbreaking has occurred. Soon we will start scheduling special build days. Any brokerage that contributes at least $1,500 collectively will get the opportunity for an exclusive special build day on the Habitat house construction site. Photographers will be on-site to take pictures of your group for your social media and local media publications.

15th Annual Run The D.O.G. St. 5K Run and Walk
Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg has graciously announced that this year’s proceeds from the Run The D.O.G. Street event will benefit the Williamsburg REALTORS® Raising The Roof project! This event can potentially raise about $20-25K and can get us more than halfway to this year’s goal. Let’s show our appreciation by showing up in force for this event! It takes a village and we are relying on full participation from our membership. Let’s participate as a joined Williamsburg REALTORS® team and reach the goal of $110,000.

Gather your colleagues, friends, and family to create a team and let’s have a little friendly competition to see which broker will come out on top for the most participation and most money raised.
